Less than two weeks to go until reunion! Excitement is building. We have 78 committed attendees thus far! If you'd like to see who's coming, check out the most recent posted list here: http://alumnae.smith.edu/reunion2010/attending.php. If you're on the list but your old friend isn't, give her a call. There's still time. The more the merrier!
Program Schedule/Class Officers/Reunion Committee:
You'll find below our class masthead plus a current program schedule for the weekend. Some of the items on the program are provided by the college and may not be of interest to everyone, but we wanted you to be able to see them in case you want to plan your time.
Transportation:
If you have a transportation issue Pat has offered to try to solve it; her e-mail and phone numbers are: patandbernie@aol.com or 914-967-0140.
Housing:
According to Amy Holich-Dunn, Assistant Director for Reunions and Classes (our liaison), the protocol for the room assignments is to group alumnae by senior house, the "most common 'house-me-near' request".
Volunteers:
Also, we need help! If you would like to volunteer, here are our needs:
At Headquarters: We need reuners to staff at times when other programs are not going on. Contact Adela Wilmerding at delading@snet.net. If possible, we'll organize a display of pictures of our class, Smith, and related images, so do bring any published books and other writings for an author's table, works of art, photos or anything else that you would like to share We plan to have tables and bulletin boards for pictures and other memorabilia.

Whites are still required for the parade Saturday morning.. If you already have a '55 reunion hat from another year, or any white hat, bring it if you think of it, as we are having umbrellas this year instead of chapeaux.
Add to what you might like to bring if you come, as we hope, to reunion: a mug for coffee and maybe tooth-brushing (we have paper and plastic) and also some of your favorite beverage in case you want to sip while chatting at headquarters. We'll have water and ice.

Important! Again, this is the first year the college has required online registration.

If you do not have or use a computer, most public libraries have them and also, usually, elementary school student know–it–alls wandering around or library staff for assistance. If you need help, call 800-526-2023 ext.4, and someone with the Alumnae Outreach office will help you. (Have a credit card handy.)
